REFLECTION #1
While I was researching my topic i found two articles (for now) but they both look interesting, the most interesting is when I read the whole article they each have different theme like one of them have the universal theme but not the generalization and the other article is the same thing but opposite. They connect to my universal theme (Ethics) and generalization (Adaptation) because Ethics fits the tone of my topic ‘marijana’ that there's a lot of controversies exist around weed for example some states wants to banned weed but there’s states the doesn't want to banned weed. For the adaptation is a good tone for weed because it be a positive thing or a negative because weed sometimes actually good for you and using too much it could kill you. I learned something new that weed could help you lowered blood pressure, helping you to avoid aids, and it didn’t kill any but tobacco killed more people than weed. In the beginning of symposium I wanted to research about anxiety and depression but I changed it because I know some people are going to do research of anxiety or depression. I came up little bit driving question of anxiety and depression, I was worried that it might be a level one question but I decided to change my topic to weed because weed has been the most questioning topic that will make you think isn’t weed good for you, or is weed actually bad, etc. My universal theme and generalization has been the same since the beginning because Ethics and adaptation looks so promising to argue with some that will help you win the argument. I hope I find the information that I wanted to find like final answer to my question that many people are thinking that weed is actually find to our human body. Also to show the true lie that many people told us about weed. I’m working with Kenna Salgado and she’s doing ok because she recently want’s to be my partner. She’s good to catch up some missing information quickly. She’s doing well and I hope she’ll be like this throughout symposium.

Reflection #2
I found out that my topic was searchable because it says that on November 2016 the law of weed was passed. So our topic has to be changed completely not only the our topic we have to change our icon, universal theme, and generalizations. Our old topic changed because we were doing based on Marijuana but since the law was past we couldn’t do that topic. But it was worth it because our topic is about legalizing specific substances and we learned that Heroin is legal certain part in America. Also based on judgment of substances that could harm us. So, our driving question is, “What are the motives & judgements with the legal system in America converge to form laws about drug use?” Since we're finally doing the Student-Led-Research my group decided to make a survey because to show how other people’s opinion/judgement about certain substances.Based on the survey will asked that should be this be legal or illegal (example question). The easy part is making the questions because me and my partner wants to make questions that will make you think and if they answer we could explore their ideas/opinion. The hard part is we couldn’t decide which specific people could take our survey. My next step is to plan my tri fold to my important information but since completed my partener and I need to agree which parts we to put our information and also getting the result back from the survey. By doing this we have to be focus and going to mentorship. My partner and I are doing good so far but theres some cases when were off task but we manage to complete our task. For my partner is doing pretty good doing her specific work well.

I learned about that California is a liberal state and the legalization of marijuana has been battling for a long time. Also Alcohol and tobacco has killed more than 2 million people in america and yet their still legal in america. I learned myself that doing symposium, we have to take time doing this huge project. Also i learned that working with others can be little stressful because sometimes you have to make sure that if there working or not. We want to make our tri fold look outstanding and that relates our main topic "laws about drug use". We want to be more creative and that would stand out and in the day of symposium I want to show off and make people go up to my project think about the laws about drug use. We want to make a the hammer that represent the law and with marijuana, alcohol, and tobacco. We still have to work on our ISD and the supplement piece but I know that we will finish our project before the symposium day. By do this we have to using our time split the work and finish our work on time. My partner, to be honest she's doing kind of great because sometimes she doesn't stay on task but I'll try my best to make her to do her work.
Reflection #4
My driving question is “What motives & Judgements within the Legal system in america converge to form laws about drug use?” We have revised some parts of the project before turning the project in for example: revising our generalizations, icons, and changing ideas for our creative piece. I learned a bunch of new ideas about laws about drug use like alcohol once been illegal somewhere in the 17 or 1800’s and tobacco killed more people than marijuana. I knew some of the ideas about my topic like legalizing of marijuana and california is a liberal state. I learned that we have to research non-stop every time we claimed our idea we support it, by the way if the information is not our research to back evidence we have research even more. Ms. Park said we have to have at least 7 article but instead we had 11 articles. I learned that the artifact has represent our topic but also we have to put out of a message of topic to show the world. Is hard to find someone to interview about our topic because it has to be someone who knows about certain things about our topic, since our topic is based laws we have find some who knows about politics and laws. It's been good working with someone that you know but sometimes we have make sure if the person is actually doing but it’s been good there was up’s and down’s during the process. There’s nothing change of our topic but… well our creative piece is shouldve been more detailed but the time's going fast and we couldn’t do it because it will waste time. My advice to the students that is doing symposium is getting a good partner to work with and managing you time with sports, homework, and etc.
